Hot or not?

Each Monday Hot or Not brings you up to date with the significant movers and shakers in the Castrol Rankings.

With no Formula 1 action this week, the main movement has come from the IndyCar and World Touring Car competitors, but there is a certain Spaniard making an appearance near the front.

UP THIS WEEK

Fernando Alonso (9)

Ferrari F1 driver has poor results from IndyCar men Ryan Briscoe and Scott Dixon to thank for a two-place rise. He didn't even race last weekend.

Graham Rahal

Graham Rahal (86)

Fine run to fifth at Toronto on IndyCar return to Newman/Haas Racing made him the biggest climber in the top 100 this week. Gained 13 spots.

Stephane Sarrazin (141)

Ex-F1 man was one third of the Le Mans Series race-winning trio at the Algarve, along with Oliver Panis and Nicolas Lapierre. The ORECA Peugeot man moved up 55 spots.

Bruno Magalhaes

Bruno Magalhaes (161)

Portuguese driver took the biggest win of his life on Intercontinental Rally Challenge event, Rally Azores. The Peugeot man climbed 82 places.

Colin Turkington (316)

Life gets even better for BTCC champ. Two podiums in WTCC at Brands Hatch lifted WSR BMW driver 108 positions and put him second in Indie standings.

DOWN THIS WEEK

Ryan Briscoe(11)

Penske IndyCar man won't be a fan of Graham Rahal's after the American spun him out of top six at Toronto. He dropped two spots.

Gabriele Tarquini

Gabriele Tarquini (54)

Third and fourth at Brands Hatch were hardly disastrous for WTCC champ, but they didn't match his win from Porto last year. Lost five places.

Jan Kopecky (96)

Skoda driver crashed out of Rally Azores on final stage and forfeited podium finish. A 20-place drop was the biggest in top 100.

Loic Duval (258)

The Formula Nippon champ stalled on the line at Fuji and finished a lap down after taking pole. Lost 39 spots as a result.

Jean-Christophe Boullion

Jean-Christophe Boullion (564)

No repeat of his Algarve Le Mans Series win from 2009, and a retirement for his Rebellion Lola lost him 147 places.
